Shelanda Manning, LPN

Shelanda is just a very sweet and amazing nurse. She knows my daughter very well. This relationship is a fine example of why staffing continuity of care is very important to the children of St. Mary’s. After working with my daughter for a period, Shelanda has developed a keen sense of when my daughter is not well; this is the key to my daughter’s good care at the Home (St. Mary’s). Shelanda’s intervention and patience always lead to a good outcome. I always feel confident when I know that Shelanda is on duty, especially when my daughter is sick. Shelanda is quick to update me. Shelanda puts up with a lot with me. I know I am a worrisome mom, but she always answers any concern with kindness and compassion. I am happy to have this opportunity to recognize how awesome she is, and my daughter would agree.
