Shelby Braden, BSN, RN

Shelby received her DAISY award nomination from numerous patients. They all felt that Shelby met all of the following criteria: Goes above and beyond, makes special connection, and creates an environment for learning: "Shelby, you are beyond compassionate, wonderful, and professional, thank you. I was treated like family. Shelby was extremely professional and helped me at a time when I needed it the most."

Shelby also received her DAISY Award nomination from a member of BH Leadership. She feels that Shelby meets the following criteria: Leadership, maintains the trust and confidence of all with whom she engages: "Shelby is the epitome of a compassionate nurse. She is always levelheaded and always keeps her cool. She has the heart for this profession, it's like she was built for this. The 16th floor is lucky to have her."
