She mixed my drinks, added a splash of lemon so they didn’t taste so bad, and checked on me to see why I was in the restroom. She is an amazing nurse.
I was on the seventh floor at Grove City Mount Carmel Hospital. I was there for almost a week. I had been throwing up green bile for five weeks. I had a lot of blood work done testing, and I was extremely dehydrated.
Shelby was by my side almost the whole night while I was prepping for a test. She mixed my drinks, added a splash of lemon so they didn’t taste so bad, and checked on me to see why I was in the restroom. She is an amazing nurse.
R is also a very amazing nurse. The doctors were not letting him know anything about my condition, so he would slip into my room whenever he saw them coming to help explain things to me, and so he could know what was going on with me, which I so appreciated. They both were the kindest, sweetest nurses I have ever met in my life.
They went out of their way for me when they did not have to. I know that they are both not in it for the money they really do it to help people which I appreciated from the bottom of my heart, I hope you understand how blessed I was to have such a wonderful staff take care of me I was so afraid and so scared. I was there by myself most of the time. They checked on me often and listened to me cry and talk me down. You have an amazing staff on the seventh floor, they should be commended for everything that they do more than just a pin. I wish I had money that I could give them something special. I’m counting on you to make this happen for me. God bless you and God bless all the nurses and techs on the seventh floor. We have to make them feel special. We need nurses and techs like you have on the seventh floor. If we don’t appreciate them, we may lose them, and trust me, we can’t afford as a patient to lose these amazing nurses. That’s why it is so important that they feel special for all they do.
