Shelby Roy, ADN, RN

Today was my second encounter with Shelby. I was admitted a few months ago with trouble breathing. Shelby was my nurse and boy did she go above and beyond to make my stay wonderful. She was very concerned with my wheezing and breathing. She made sure I was getting treatments on TIME. She's patient and caring. I had to get an IV via ultrasound. She was right there keeping me calm and at the same time being a team player to the nurse doing the procedure. Today when she walked in my room AGAIN that connection was instantly there. She is very knowledgeable and did an excellent job answering my questions and concerns. She made sure I was warm and cozy. Once my tests were complete, she was there with snacks.  After I was admitted, she continuously made sure I was OK and that I did not have any concerns. Today, she demonstrated the same compassion and caring disposition towards me. She is a true DAISY Nurse.
