What matters to MAJ Kallos is the nursing services he could provide to all the patients that need his compassionate and quality nursing care.
With his present position, MAJ Sheldon Kallos ensures that the quality nursing services of the personnel have been implemented according to the health standards and continuously provided appropriate nursing care to all the patients. Likewise, he guarantees that the areas are properly manned, even granting the authorized leaves as part of the morale and welfare of the personnel. Though he is designated in the administrative works and functions, he still manage to set himself to perform clinical nursing care to the patients as Nurse-on-Duty (NOD). He organizes the referral, diagnostic treatment and procedures to other hospital and healthcare facilities just to provide the sufficient care and quality nursing services for the patients.
During the start of COVID-19 pandemic outbreak, limited personnel resources was a major concern, MAJ Kallos then extended his duty in the rotation in the Isolation Ward which caters to patients with the confirmed/suspected/probable COVID-19 cases status. He also involved himself in the COVID-19 vaccination activities of the hospital. He never counted his detailed tasked and additional duties alongside his administrative responsibility. What matters to him is the nursing services he could provide to all the patients that need his compassionate and quality nursing care. With this exemplary performance of duty, MAJ Kallos is strongly commended as an extraordinary nurse.
