Shelli was there when my son was delivered. I was under full anesthesia and she was there to care for him when I was not. Then when I finally got the chance to meet him, it was Shelli who made sure I was able to see and touch him.
Days later she became his primary nurse. Day in and day out Shelli made sure that I was fully informed on the care of my son. She gave me back the power to be his mom by making sure I always was able to do his basic care. More than that - she educated me on his care so that I could talk passionately and informed about his needs. Shelli was also his first advocate. Every day when we attended rounds, she was the first to stand up for his needs based on his strengths and his personality.
Shelli cares for the most perfect and most important person in my life and I wouldn't trust anyone with this job more than her.

Thank you, Shelli, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
