I would like to, both Emphatically and Wholeheartedly, recommend/nominate my Home Health Nurse to receive the DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nurses, as, if there ever was such an Extraordinary Nurse, she tops the charts in her field! Shelly has been my Home Health nurse after surgery. When I required another surgery, I specifically asked for her to be my Home Health nurse again, due to the excellent care she had provided to me after the previous surgery.

Luckily, she was assigned to me again and continued to provide the same excellent care as before! She always advised me of the time she would arrive at my home and was always on time! She was the Epitome of caring, knowledge, skill, and empathy which every nurse should possess. She listened carefully to my questions and concerns and always provided answers and possible solutions. She was an amazing source of comfort at a time when I was in my most vulnerable state and provided excellent physical and emotional care and support, always with a smile on her face and love in her heart! She is a true angel of mercy!
