Shemeka Arrington was nominated by a Veteran who shared that during her 2nd visit to the ER, she intentionally sought out Ms. Arrington for her care because she was "so wonderful, genuine, and such a blessing" the first time she took care of her. She stated that Ms. Arrington's level of compassion evenly matched her excellent clinical skill as she performed a necessary, but very painful arterial needle stick. The Veteran expressed profound appreciation for Ms. Arrington's expert knowledge, skill, and genuine display of concern for her well-being.
