I wish to comment on the SMA on CHF that we had on November 1st, which was a HUGE success. Shepherd worked very hard and all eight patients who were invited did attend, along with one spouse. We had a dietician, two speakers from CCHT and we had a very nice snack table set up for them. We had excellent questions and discussion, and all the patients had great comments, wanting us to do this again!

Shepherd worked very hard on this group and needs to be given much credit. She arranged transportation for those who needed it, contacted all the patients, arranged for the note template to be done for the group, contacted all the speakers and arranged for goody bags with helpful information to be given out, and more. I want to tell you that one of the patients gave what was basically a testimonial. I want to say I am proud to work with an RN that goes way above and beyond to take care of the veterans. The speakers were gratified about the excellent response and participation as well.
