Sherene Birsa, BSN, RN

Our baby was born a month early at Phoenixville Hospital and ended up staying for a week in the NICU. Having our firstborn in the NICU was a very scary and upsetting feeling. Sherene not only gave incredible care to our baby, but she also gave us comfort and compassion. She patiently answered all of our questions and checked in on us frequently. She quickly became like family to us. She went above and beyond her duties as my baby's nurse and made sure I was always taken care of even though I was not technically her patient. Sherene made sure to explain everything in great detail to me and my husband. It was incredibly hard to leave our baby, but knowing that Sherene was providing great care made it easier. My baby thrived in the NICU because of the wonderful care provided by this nurse. I cannot thank Sherene enough for what she did for our baby during the time in NICU!
