I am one of the medicine residents on MICU currently. Sherene has been taking care of one of our critically ill patients for the past week and a half and has been doing an incredible job. Her empathy, patient advocacy, and patient care are something we should all strive for. While taking care of this sick, young, and emotionally distressed patient, she displayed the patience and care one can only hope for if one of our family members was in a similar position.
