My husband spent three weeks in the COVID ICU. Sheri was his Nurse many times. When the medical team told me there was nothing else that could be done, I told Sheri I couldn't make the decision without seeing him. Because I was also COVID positive, I could not come in. Sheri arranged for social workers to "Zoom" with me and my family so that we could see Joe and make the right decision. The day Joe passed, Sheri was there. She used her own phone to FaceTime with me and my daughter so that we could say goodbye. Sherri is truly an angel and one of our heroes.
