December 2024 Honoree
Sherie Berkebile, RN
I would like to nominate Sherie Berkebile from the Surgical Hospital Pain department for the DAISY Award. Sherie has been working for SH perioperative services for over 15 years. She is always willing to offer a helping hand to our patients & fellow staff. She even comes in on unscheduled days to help our unit. Several of our pain management patients have recognized Sherie for her cheerful outlook & her ability to show them compassion.
One patient wrote a letter stating that they have come to Surgical Hospital several times for pain management injections & she always sees Sherie helping others & full of energy. She expressed that Sherie always checks on her after her procedure and that she makes her feel comfortable, safe, and like everything will be okay.
Sherie’s long-standing commitment to the Loma Linda Health institution, her ability to show compassion and comfort patients, and her willingness to always offer her colleagues a helping hand is why I believe Sherie Berkebile should receive the DAISY Award.
