Sherri Abbott, RN, MSN/Ed., RNC-NIC

Sherri has been a huge pillar of support and knowledge through the entire Covid-19 pandemic. From the beginning, she made herself available and provided support to the staff and the students with transparency. When the transition to online went live, Sherri was always just a phone call away for everyone, advocating for both the staff and students at the clinical sites and maintaining the high standards that our profession demands. During 2020, Sherri made sure that the faculty and students stayed connected through phone calls and staff meetings. As we start to discuss the transition back to campus, she advocates for the student's and faculty's best interests. Sherri really does show her compassion, leadership, and strong communication skills while maintaining the professionalism and empathy her position requires. I am grateful to have her as a leader!
