I have worked with Sherri for quite a while. Sherri is a very kind, loving, and caring nurse with her patients. She always welcomes her patients with a smile and gives them that comfort that they will be ok. She is also wonderful with her staff. One day I mentioned that I had an appointment for a colonoscopy and endoscopy over at the Endoscopy Center of Santa Fe. I was very nervous about it, and she asked me why I didn't schedule it at our facility. I told her that's where they scheduled me. Sherri went above her job duties and changed my appointment to our facility. My test was scheduled for a Monday. On Sunday, I had to start my prep and as I was drinking, I became ill. So, I called the Digestive Health Department in tears and spoke with Sherri. I let her know I couldn't finish my drink and she very kindly advised me to take some medication for nausea. I advised her I was going to cancel my test because I couldn't take the drink any longer. Sherri advised me to keep my appointment and let me see what the doctor had to say. I informed the doctor I could not finish the drink, and that's when Sherri came over and told me to try another drink. She gave me instructions on how to mix and when to take it. Thank God I was able to tolerate it. I went back the following day and had my tests done. I was scared and nervous, but Sherri ensured me that everything was going to be okay. I don't have enough words to thank Sherri for going out of her way to help me get through this rough test. Thank you, Sherri!
