I came in today knowing my son was already gone. I didn't know what to expect and was scared of the whole day, to be honest. From the moment I walked in, Sherri made me feel safe. She made me feel like I wasn't alone, and most importantly, she made me feel like I could actually make it through everything today. She constantly checked on me and helped in every way I needed leading up to my labor. She held me and helped me through my epidural and every contraction. When it came time for delivery, she held my leg and helped every step of the way. I am not sure I could have been that strong today if it wasn't for her. After my son was born she was there to help with every question and everything I needed. She helped me with anything- from changing the blanket so I could hold him, to taking pictures of everything we wanted, and even hugged me while I cried. Today was the worst day of my life, but Sherri helped me and made it the best day it could have been in this situation. There's nothing I could do to show her how much she means to my family and me. I will never forget the amazing nurse that helped me and made my few hours with my son the best they could be. Everyone deserves a nurse like Sherri. The whole team here is amazing and definitely makes you feel cared for and safe. I will never go to another hospital.
