Sherri had a way of knowing the right things to say to make you feel better about yourself, which I needed and appreciated.
In May 2019 my life changed dramatically! I was told I had renal cell cancer. I ultimately had my right kidney removed. Then, I was told I had prostate cancer. This caused me to have 42 radiation treatments. If there was a bright spot in my cancer treatments, it was me being fortunate to have my radiation treatments at Pottstown Radiation Oncology Department. There I met an amazing standout individual, Sherri. she was ALWAYS upbeat and most informative. Her knowledge and her ability to relate to your concerns always amazed me. She had a way of knowing the right things to say to make you feel better about yourself, which I needed and appreciated. This was not a lone episode, it was throughout my 42 days of radiation treatments. She was always sincere and empathetic toward my needs. As a cancer patient, it’s a very scary time. You hope and pray you are treated with care, and not become “the patient” in time slot 10 a.m. for radiation. Well, that surely didn’t happen here. I was so happy and thankful for the extraordinary care I received. Sherri is a true DAISY Nurse.
