Nomination #1-I had a stereotactic biopsy on July 31, 2023. I was very anxious going into this procedure. Ann and Sherry B, the nurse, were incredible angels. First of all, she was very professional and knowledgeable. She explained every bit of the procedure in easy to understand terms. But she was so much more. She was kind and empathetic with just the right amount of humor to lessen my nervousness. She answered all of my questions and even answered some I hadn't thought about. Her genuine compassion for women at such a vulnerable moment is commendable. She is truly an asset to Henry Ford Hospital. I feel blessed having met her. Nomination #2-Sherry was so very kind and understanding. I was extremely anxious and nervous. She was patient, took her time explaining the procedure and answered all my questions. She made me very comfortable. I'm grateful that she was my nurse.
