Sherry checked in on the unit after her ACLS class. When she got us to us, she saw that we were very overwhelmed with the current situation we were in. There was a very combative patient as well as other pre-op and post-op patients. Sherry did not hesitate to put on her scrubs and jump into action. Not only did she help to recover patients, but she was also extremely useful in helping calm the distressed patient. Sherry's patience, good attitude, and a sense of teamwork got us through an extremely tough situation. Furthermore, she stayed until the unit was clear and ensured that her co-workers were able to take their lunch before she resumed her weekend.
