From April 26 through June 18th, I received daily infusions at the Ballard Cancer center on weekdays and at Swedish Ballard ER on the weekends. The dressing covering my PICC Line required much attention. My skin's reaction to the adhesives caused frequent changes and use of alternative types of dressings. It was time consuming. So many nurses at the Center and ER showed care and compassion. I am grateful to ALL of them, but my IV Nurse, Sherry Collins stands out. Her relentless devotion to my care, her diligence in treating me and her compassion in making me feel comfortable were awesome. She is obviously a leader and she is so respected by your staff AND ME!
