Sherry spoke with a patient today who had 2 children and they have all been very sick. Mother is a single parent who went to a gas station trying to grab some Gatorade for her children and was asked to leave due to her being ill herself. They did not care that she was a single mom and had no family to help. They only cared about the possible spread of a virus due to the circumstance.
Sherry went above and beyond for the patient. She left work on her afternoon off to pick up Gatorade and medication for the children.
Mom stated, "Sherry is one of the best nurses that I have ever dealt with and she has no idea what she did today and how much it meant to me."
Sherry is constantly making efforts in our department to make everyone happy. She is always there to help in any way she can. She is honestly the most kindhearted and generous person that I know.
