Sherry works at our PACU in our main hospital as well as our East Lincoln Surgery Center weekly and cares for our pediatric patients' post-dental surgery. Many of these patients require extensive extractions. Recently after a mother and child left it was discovered that the extracted teeth and a jacket were left behind. Once discovered there was much discussion about the patient being very excited to have the Tooth Fairy come. Sherry made arrangements to meet the mother later that evening with the coat and extracted teeth because she didn't want the child to miss the excitement and the thrill of the Tooth Fairy coming. This is just one of the many thoughtful and kind acts Sherry does for others. Sherry goes out of her way to meet patients' needs and promote happiness in her everyday life.
