I am honored to recognize Sherry Nothway for the exceptional care, compassion, and mentorship she provides every day. As both a dedicated nurse and a guiding mentor, Sherry exemplifies what it means to lead with heart, skill, and deep commitment to patient-centered care.
From the moment I began working alongside Sherry, she has consistently gone above and beyond, not only for her patients but all the veterans she serves. She ensures that everyone, regardless of assigned nurse, has what they need. Whether it's covering while I’m off, anticipating veterans' needs, or checking to make sure no one is overlooked, her presence brings a sense of order and compassion to everyday!
What truly sets her apart is her dedication to lifting others up. As my mentor, she’s poured time, knowledge, and patience into helping me be the best case manager I can be. She teaches not just policies and procedures but the why behind them- fostering critical thinking and confidence.
Sherry’s encouragement has made a lasting impact on my practice, and the countless Veterans she’s cared for have been touched by her thoroughness, kindness, and clinical excellence.
