Sherry Understeller, RN

I have been seeing Sherry for over 5 months as part of my chemotherapy treatment. She makes what otherwise might be an unpleasant situation almost enjoyable. Sherry has a great sense of humor while being respectful and compassionate. She is skilled and organized, so I feel no time is wasted. One time, she had issues accessing my port, and rather than causing me discomfort, she brought in someone from infusion. That says a lot to me; she puts me first over her ego or bothering someone else. I knew I was getting the best of care from Sherry and the staff. I hope I'm able to convey that I believe Sherry exhibits most, if not all, of the CARE principles. This lady shows everyone what a professional, caring nurse she is to her patients. Her approach to her work is very smooth and calming for her patients, and she strives to be above reproach in her actions. Both my wife and I have been impressed with her work as my attending nurse, and I always feel so much better after my appointment. She is well deserving of any honors she may receive. Thank you!
