Sherry was fantastic! She created a safe environment for me to stay. A lot of nurses can make you feel like you're inconveniencing them for asking for basic care, but Sherry always went 2 steps beyond expectations and always offered her help and delivered even if it was 5 minutes after we last asked her for something. Every time she came in, she wanted me to participate in my care through shared decision-making and letting me say no when I was uncomfortable doing something, rather than forcing me to do it. She did everything nonjudgmentally and with a smile. She was such a pleasure to be around. I wish she could be my nurse every time I came to the hospital. Sherry was amazing.
