Sherwin Mamuyac, BSN, RN

Sherwin is awesome as a human being and a nurse. The time he takes, he makes the most of it. I know he has many other patients, but he makes my mom feel like she is the only one. He has an attention to detail, he is kind, when seeing him in another part of the floor, he asks if I'm ok, if I need anything, if my mom needs anything.

When passing by the room, he always checks in, doesn't avoid eye contact, and keeps moving to take the time to check in. His attitude, his demeanor, the calmness and confidence. It is reassuring that his ability to connect with patients and family really makes a stressful situation less stressful. I truly believe every patient he has is blessed.

He is taking care of my mom. I have been watching everyone, and he is one of the greatest nurses I have encountered. His performance made me want to make sure it is recognized. He is a good person, a good nurse, and it's hard to put into words how grateful my family is. Every hospital, every floor, every patient needs Sherwin.
