Sheryl will spend so much time investigating and speaking with her patients. Even calling other departments or whomever she can to be sure the patient's needs are met. Sheryl often has to educate and re-educate staff when an error or near-miss occurs. These tasks can easily be delegated but Sheryl is the best at educating and will take the time to teach correctly to ensure patient safety.

Sheryl purchases cards and gifts for the staff to celebrate their "week". She genuinely cares for all people. Sheryl has gone above and beyond to assist in oversight of VFC, pharm. wastes and many other time consuming tasks. Sheryl has a heart of gold and never forgets her "why". She is the perfect example of what a nurse should be and is 100% here to make a difference in the lives of others, for the better. We are grateful for her!
