Sheva Musheyeva, an outpatient Otolaryngology RN is a great embodiment of these attributes. When the Covid-19 pandemic severely impacted New York, many changes took place within the healthcare system. Sheva took part in carrying out these changes at her place of employment, Northwell Physician Partners 59th Street Practice, as per protocols and guidelines set in place by the Northwell Quality Management Team. She was in charge of inventory and made sure that there were sufficient amounts of personal protective equipment for clinical personnel. This was very crucial given the fact that New York was facing a shortage of such equipment. It was vital on her part to make sure that the practice was well-equipped because providing safe and effective patient care was a priority. She had assisted with donating N95 masks to Lenox Hill Hospital. Sheva carried out the task of training the clinical staff by conducting drills on suspect Covid patients, utilizing questionnaires provided by Quality Management, and isolating patients accordingly. She also worked very closely with the practice manager on purchasing air purifiers for each exam room in the practice. She volunteers to provide additional clinical support for 59th Street's very busy, high patient volume and demanding practice. Sheva is always ready to start new clinical projects and completes all assigned projects accurately and on time. She has proven herself to be a true team player and very professional. She adds significant value to the 59th Street practice. She is dedicated to her daily tasks and works hard to ensure the highest quality of patient care provided. She is well-liked by clinicians and her colleagues. Sheva’s performance is exceptional. I would like to recognize her efforts in providing outstanding clinical support at 59th Street Practice.
