I admire the patience and loving care that Shijimol provided to one of our patients. She sang with the patient, wheeled her around the unit in a wheelchair, massaged her back, combed her hair, and instructed the patient's family to bring in a meal that the patient requested. She brought her into the hall to watch her rather than sedating or ignoring her. All this while taking care of 4 other patients. This was a very challenging patient and Shijimol stepped up to the plate.
