Shilpa gave her best to make me comfortable and taught me ways to recover fast.
Having two consecutive surgeries in FUH Throughout my admission, I can say that Shilpa deserves THE DAISY Award, Shilpa gave me an out of the box and extra ordinary care, was really different from other nurses on duty. I cannot forget the time it was almost morning, and she was about to go home; I was really in pain, crying and very restless and I haven't had a sleep, yet she gave me a gentle back massage until I fell asleep to the point that she extended hours of duty for me. She always helps me in washing myself, I can feel her heart when taking care of me, the way she combed and tied my hair like my mom was beside me.
Shilpa’s sincere and pure heart was there whenever she held my hand to assist me in walking. When others were struggling putting tubes in my nose, she was there holding me saying "don't worry I'm here". When I was vomiting a lot, she never gave distance instead she cleaned me up and made sure that I was okay. Shilpa gave her best to make me comfortable and taught me ways to fast recovery. I really felt that she was a family who took care of me. But what really touched my heart was every time Shilpa reminded me that everything will be all right and that she is praying for my fast recovery. When I was transferred to a different unit for my 2nd surgery, I ask other nurses if by any chance Shilpa can come for me, I was surprised that she came and later then I knew Shilpa was out of duty already and that came only to check on me and make me comfortable.
