Ms. Shinimol Shaji, along with other nurses, took great care of my daughter for almost two weeks while she was in the NICU. Ms. Shini is a standout for me in how she lovingly took care of my daughter while I was also recovering from my delivery. As my daughter was born premature, I had so many fears and apprehensions that she would have so many complications and would not gain weight enough for us to bring home. But seeing how Ms. Shini took great care of my daughter, patiently feeding her and monitoring her, reassured me that she is in great hands and that she will recover in time. I also would like to thank her for communicating everything that is happening to our daughter to us parents, updating us regularly - and letting us know what to expect and the small things that my daughter achieved for the day. I am truly grateful, and one day, when my daughter is bigger, I will share this wonderful story with her. Great nurses need to be celebrated as they not only take care of their patients but also bring comfort and reassurance to the family as well.
