Shiri exemplified KINDNESS, COMMITMENT, and COMPASSION during my three-day hospital stay. Shiri is the kindest and most compassionate nurse that I know after experiencing her care as a patient.

Shiri embodies the essence of what it means to be an excellent nurse. Shiri is a shining example of the core mission value of REVERENCE, which is respect and compassion for the dignity and diversity of life. During the times I cried like a baby because my pain was out of control, Shiri held my hand and told me that I could get through this. She reassured me constantly that things will be ok. As I sobbed in my hospital bed, Shiri took the time to listen to my story.

She listened to my story with so much compassion and heart, that it gave me the courage to stand up and do something about my situation. She kept me constantly informed about the different changes in my plan of care and what the plan is for the day. We had many conversations about my plan of care, about myself, and my situation. She was so kind to me, that it really moved me beyond everything and anything I can say.
