The first time I got to speak with Dr. Marion was when she took over as the Midwifery Track coordinator. I had just missed passing a class by 1 point. She was there to comfort and support me and provide guidance on what the next steps were to repeat the class. She never once made me feel like I had failed, but wanted to instill confidence in me and make me feel that she was my personal cheerleader sitting in the corner.

Next, when I had to have a preceptor for high-risk and could not connect with anyone locally, she took it upon herself to help me find a preceptor and help arrange a plan to get my clinical hours in during the trimester. She has always lent an ear to listen and supported me in my future endeavors.
