This is not an isolated situation. Anytime I pass through the recovery room if Shirley has a patient she is always facing them and most times has her hands on them. Often times she is calmly speaking to them to let them know, surgery is over. You are in the recovery room and everything is fine. This is an area patients are not likely to remember and family members are not usually there to see how kind and comforting she is. She is the kind of nurse I would want to take care of my family member.
