Shirly was our night time nurse and she was exceptional. She was compassionate, understanding, empathetic, and had a sense of humor that made the process that much more manageable. I asked her no less than 50 questions and she never made me feel like a burden. She answered every single question with honesty and compassion, knowing some of the answers were ones that were going to break our hearts. She saw when we were overwhelmed and stepped in enough to help us out without making us feel inadequate as parents. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Shirly and no amount of "thank you's" will ever express how truly grateful our family was to have her for our stay in Mother & Infant unit.
