Shonda Pebworth, LPN

Shonda is an excellent nurse and the best, in my opinion, for the Durant Clinic. If you find yourself struggling to find the words to explain how you are feeling before you see the doctor, she will help you and make you feel like you're the only person she has to help that day. Not only is she an excellent nurse, but Shonda is also an excellent person, which makes her a great nurse. Shonda may not always feel like it, but she is always kind, upbeat, compassionate, and listens to every word you say, and for older patients, this is very important. She makes everyone feel welcome, comfortable, and excited to go to the doctor; this is a rare trait. Everyone is fighting a battle that no one else knows about, but you would never know that from her. Shonda's patients love her because of the way she makes you feel like you have just seen your family and grandchildren; yes, she makes you feel this special. She would not want this kind of recognition, but I wanted someone to know how special she is to all of us.
