I was initially transported to South 7th floor but, the next day was sent to the PCU 4th floor. Shontell was my nurse every day. She would spend a lot of time with us explaining everything that was going on in a manner we could comprehend. Shontell was super friendly and caring. She made us feel at ease in a frightening time. Thank you so much Shontell!

I want you to know that my nurse Shontell takes good care of me-making sure I got my tube feedings, gives me my morphine for my pain, and takes good care of the broken-down skin area on my sacrum. She is so tender, always explains everything to me, and is so loving and compassionate. What a wonderful nurse she is. I want her to be recognized for all her hard work. Shontell is making my journey with pancreatic cancer much easier to endure.

My husband needed a lot of care with tube feedings, maintaining pain level, turning his body frequently, applying special ointment to his bedsore, irrigating his drain, and much more. Here is a compassionate dedicated and kind nurse who volunteered to have him as a patient 3 or more times in a row. Her care is top-notch, and she is so caring and gentle with my loving husband. We've been married for 56 years.
