I had a difficult first day, but when Shreya came on shift the next day, she really helped make my stay here much better and calmed me down. I have anxiety due to multiple heart events and surgeries. Prior to admission, I was already struggling with foot pain due to tendonitis. She was incredibly kind and patient. Without delay, she got approval for my regular topical medication for my foot. She was very supportive of my need to take a walk and keep moving. Her natural instinct to help and provide care shines through her every action and outstanding communication skills. She is highly efficient but takes time to listen. As we get older, we sometimes are sensitive to others treating us with dignity. It can sometimes be a struggle to retain our dignity and not feel like people just dismiss us as old and foolish. This nurse always treated me with dignity. I hope Baylor recognizes her strong leadership qualities, hard work, and personal values.

Talk about an amazing nurse and person! We hit it off, and she took all my fears away from me. Her attention to detail assured me I was at the right hospital. Shreya is an amazing nurse. She has gone above and beyond to take care of J. She has been prompt to come anytime needed. She has very clearly explained every medication and procedure done while here. She is a very caring nurse and it is very clear in her job. She’s been a blessing to us since we arrived.
