Sierra is a remarkable person and nursing student. I have had the pleasure of having her in class the last two semesters. She genuinely cares about her classmates and the clients with whom she interacts. She also cares for the communities in which she lives, attends school, and works. She is actively involved in Delta Iota Chi as their fundraising chair. She was recently inducted into Sigma Theta Tau. This is where Sierra really stood out. She immediately got involved in the local Sigma Chapter: Psi-at-Large. She has already participated in their volunteer day. The president of the chapter sent an email expressing gratitude for how kind and engaged Sierra was in their activities. The president of the chapter shared that we should be proud to have Sierra as part of the PLU community, and I completely agree!
