Sierra Huffman, BSN, RN, C-EFM

My wife and I had to change plans several times during the birth process. Over the 24-hour experience, Sierra was an exemplary nurse in answering our questions and providing physical care, but also in the mental and emotional struggles. We pivoted from natural birth to epidural to c-section, and Sierra provided outstanding encouragement and professionalism throughout the whole process. Her emotional connection with my wife, in particular, was above and beyond, offering exactly the right words to encourage, challenge, and lift up at all the right times. Any staff could use a few more Sierras. For these reasons, I nominate Sierra for a DAISY Award!
