Silvinita (Nita) Rowe, DNP, MSN, RN, CNOR

Nita is one of the NCAL Perioperative Services Program Manager. She serves as a resource and clinical expert to the 21 facilities and is ready to assist when there are clinical practice or standard process questions and concerns. She connects local facility leaders to regional resources and collaborates well with the physician leaders in the perioperative space. She has successfully partnered with the nursing professional development consultants and KPHC leaders in the successful implementation of BPAM (Blood Product Administration Management) in the perioperative space. In addition, she has led a multi-disciplinary team in reviewing and revising the NCAL surgical count policy as well as the safety checklist. She keeps the patients and members at the center of what she does, keeps safety and quality as a priority, and works with the local facility leaders to drive this vision.

Nita always connects her purpose to what she does, providing meaning to the work and inspiring others. Her strive for excellence and patient safety supports KP's nursing vision to advance the art and science of nursing in a patient-centered healing environment through professional practice and leadership.
