Simon Doquang, RN
Simon Doquang often goes beyond his duty to get the job done. Simon is always striving to advance the care of Veterans. He treats patients with great respect and has a great rapport with them. He is extremely conscientious about making sure the interventional pain procedure suite is well supplied and maintained and runs smoothly. He makes patients feel comfortable before, during, and after their pain procedures and ensures patients have a timely follow-up.
In one recent instance, we had a patient with a medical problem unrelated to the care they receive from our clinic. We recommended the patient go to the emergency department and Simon helped convince the patient this was necessary he brought the patient down to the ED himself to ensure a seamless handoff of patient care. Mr. Doquang has consistently provided excellent care to our veterans. He is respectful and reliable in his daily duties. Simon is a great colleague and a credit to nursing.
