I was admitted to HF Providence through the ER. I was in extreme pain with multiple compression fractures in my back.

I had good nurses throughout my admission. However, Simone stood out. She was kind, attentive, and most importantly, committed to helping me. She came to me after the ER surgery and was insistent on making me comfortable. I had a horrible experience on the second night. I was embarrassed; however, I knew that when Simone took over, I was in for some good care. She checked on me regularly, sensing my hesitation; she energized me, which I needed. There was no burdensome request. Upon discharge, she made sure that I had eaten prior to taking the much-needed medications I needed for my safety.

You should be very proud to have a nurse of this caliber. This is her calling. She is dedicated to helping others. She has a peaceful presence with a giving spirit. I needed so much help walking and cleaning myself after toileting. She followed up with the doctor and made sure I had what I needed to recover. Simone Hubbard was the best nurse ever. Keep her as a symbol of dedicated nurse care.
