Simone Taylor, BSN, RN, CPN

Simone Taylor was among the first people to welcome me into the PACU when I came to work here in August. She has been such a great mentor and nurse. She is patient, compassionate, and has great integrity. She has gone above and beyond to help me.

I had a patient who spoke only Spanish. This patient was called a Z-trip cab for discharge and received a message about her ride arriving. Simone ran from the main entrance to the emergency department entrance and the connecting hospital to help this patient find her ride. The patient's cab had left, and Simone worked with social work to obtain another when this was not her patient, and it was past my shift. Simone had a charge assignment at the time of this event. Every patient and patient situation matters to her.

She is also a nurse I look up to. Simone always knows the answer to your questions or where to find it. She is a very dedicated nurse, and I am proud to know her.
