Siri Miyagishima, RN

Siri took care of a patient who was hospitalized for 35 days during Covid. The patient’s son said that Siri did an excellent job taking care of his father and he wanted to show his gratitude for the care that was provided. Siri was the patient’s final nurse at BMH and was the primary person to keep the son informed about his father's care during the 35 days that the patient was in the hospital. He spoke to Siri several times and Siri actually stayed past her shift on the day that the patient passed to make sure that he didn’t die alone. Siri also facilitated using an iPad for FaceTime visits with the family prior to the patient's passing. The patient's son would like to thank her for the compassion she showed during COVID 19 to the patient and the family.
