I am proud to nominate Sister Maria Nakityo for the DAISY Award for her outstanding, compassionate and hard work at Mount Sinai for over 30 years. Her pleasant smile, soft-spoken voice and sensitivity to patients' needs has earned the respect and praise from patients and co-workers. Sister Maria has held many roles - charge nurse, preceptor, care ambassador and friend. It is an honor to nominate such a remarkable nurse for her hard work and dedication. She has earned the DAISY Award! We all love her greatly!

Maria has excellent nursing skills. She is very compassionate with patients and co-workers and always ready to assist when asked. There is never a task that she refuses. Maria has excellent IV skills that all our team players utilize at times.
