I am 82 yrs. old and have been in Atrium Health Pineville for approximately 2 weeks with a very serious lung disease. I have been a very active person for my entire life until this past year. I have never had to depend on anybody for support or help. I feel so fortunate that during my hospitalization I have had the opportunity to have this wonderful nurse as my night nurse. Siwen truly exemplifies what a nurse should be. Her clinical care in managing my IV infusion has been excellent; it is not easy because my skin is very fragile and tears easily, but she takes her time. Siwen was very caring and giving, she listened to me, she put me at ease and helped me resolve my issues when I was ready to quit and die.

To put it simply, she is just a marvelous person. I would be happy to have her as a personal friend. Thank you for all the hard work and care. I appreciate what she did for me while I was in the hospital.
