Wiping my tears, holding my hand, talking to me trying to distract me. She was able to get me helpful meds and I was able to sleep the rest of the night.
There are so many things I could say about Skyelar, but I will get right to it. She cared for me as if I were a family member of hers. I was so blessed to be able to have her for more than one night. I ended up having to have a major surgery and she knew about it the night before. I already started to panic, and I started to cry and have a total meltdown. She was already so tired, but she never left my side. She contacted the Dr. so they could get me something to calm me down and instead of just leaving the room while they dealt with me, she stayed in my room. Wiping my tears, holding my hand, talking to me trying to distract me. She was able to get me helpful meds and I was able to sleep the rest of the night.

Then the time had come to go down to the procedure without having a familiar face to help me. I came out of the surgery. Didn’t even get up to my room and I thought I was dreaming because racing to my bedside was Skyelar! She was already taking care of how I could take the meds she knew I needed each night just to sleep. She was already on the line with Dr’s orders. She did it again, she stayed with me. She knew the pain was bad and was able to get me water and all the meds I could take. I was sound asleep before long. She continuously looked in to see if I was OK. She’s a true angel!
