My husband has liver disease/cancer and was experiencing confusion and was very combative. We were unsure if this was the new face of normal or what. She continually reassured us that this was fixable. After the tests revealed the culprit, and even though the treatment was unpleasant for her and him, she remained calm, reassuring us she was fine. She was competent, knowledgeable, and compassionate. Her level of empathy was unmatched. She was never cold or seemingly uncaring, even when pulled in a hundred directions. Younger people sometimes get a bad rap. But then you meet a one in a million, and faith is renewed. Thank you, Skylar!
