I was admitted to ICU, intubated, and sedated. When I awoke, I was scared confused and had no idea what had happened. Sloan was so patient and caring and always made sure to explain every part of my treatment in a way I could understand. Sloan is one of the best nurses I have ever had. Her kindness and compassion shine through and I'm thankful she was there to take care of me during a vulnerable time in my life. Shannon is lucky to have such a wonderful nurse. No doubt that she'll continue to bless the lives of so many others just like she did mine.
